Who runs TheMajority.us
TheMajority.us is a project of eAdviser, Inc., a Delaware corporation founded by Burr Warne. eAdviser, Inc. operates out of Arlington, Virginia. TheMajority.us is not affiliated with any political party, candidate, campaign, PAC, or political consulting firm.
TheMajority.us was built out of a pattern Burr kept seeing: 74% of Americans support Medicare drug-price negotiation, 72% support investment in renewable energy, 68% support a national work authorization ID — and Congress votes against most of them anyway. The gap between what the majority actually supports and what gets enacted in Washington is not a polling error. It is a feature of a system that rewards party loyalty and donor alignment over constituent preference. TheMajority.us exists to make that gap visible, member by member, vote by vote, so voters can decide for themselves whether their representatives are working for them or for someone else.

Three principles, no exceptions
How we're funded
TheMajority.us is self-funded by eAdviser, Inc. We do not currently accept donations, sponsorships, or paid advertising of any kind. If that ever changes, we will update this page and publish a donor policy before accepting a single dollar.
We will never accept: money from political parties, PACs, super PACs, 527s, candidates, campaigns, or foreign nationals. We will never accept payment to publish or suppress content. We will never sell email addresses, user data, or access to our platform.
How we handle your data
If you join our email list, we use your address for one thing: sending you occasional updates about the site. We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses with anyone. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How to report an error
If you find a factual error, a misattributed vote, a broken link, or a poll we've cited inaccurately, email corrections@themajority.us. We publish a corrections log and update the site. This is how we earn trust: by being wrong in public and fixing it in public.
What we are not
- We are not a news outlet. We don't break news. We track what your representatives vote on vs. what majorities support.
- We are not a PAC. We don't fundraise for candidates or run paid ads against them.
- We are not an AI. Maj, our assistant, uses AI to explain policies — but every underlying score, vote, and poll is human-verified from a cited public source.
- We are not affiliated with any candidate or party. If someone tells you otherwise, they're wrong — email us and we'll correct the record.
